The Reluctant Twilighter

I can't believe I have a Twilight blog…

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BUTTONS!!! January 8, 2010

Ladies and gentleman, today is a very important day.  Today is the birthday of my dear friend Buttons!!  Buttons is not her real name, of course.  Every time I try to text her name the autotype function on my cell phone decides that I’m trying to talk sewing instead, hence a nickname was born.  I don’t really use this nickname much, but since this blog is all about anonymity, we’re going to use it today.

Let me tell you a little bit about my friend Buttons.  I have known Buttons for almost 15 years and she is the nicest, most caring, compassionate girl on the planet.  She is beautiful, hilarious, fun, affectionate, dedicated, hard-working, incredibly intelligent and an amazing listener.  One of the things I enjoy the most about Buttons is that she is the least judgmental person I know.  I can tell her anything, no matter how nerdy, gross, embarrassing, whatever and I know that she will never turn her back on me, will always be my best friend, and will probably even love me more for whatever I tell her.  My other favorite part about Buttons is her ability to obsess over something.  I love this because she’s exactly the same as me.  A lot of you may be the same way as well.  Once we get started on something, there’s no stopping us.  Through the years we’ve gone through all sorts of obsessions, from Green Day to NSync to Russell Crowe to Harry Potter and now Twilight.  Sharing these obsessions with her is the BEST and she is the reason I started this blog.  I still remember the day she told me over the phone that she had finally read Twilight and loved it.  It was so exciting to know that she was going to be with me on this.  Since then we’ve had an email Midnight Sun Book Club, smoked cigarettes (my first) while listening to Johnny Flynn (hoping that Rob would walk by at that very moment, being within 100 miles of Vancouver at the time), created our own unconventional “teams” (Team Six Pack, Team Green Sweater, Team Port Angeles, Team Creeper, and my favorite, Team Mike Newton’s Mom), taken a day trip to Forks (discussing every possible aspect of all four Twilight books along the way), and answered the age old question “If you were dying of cancer and could get a wish granted through the Make-A-Wish Foundation, what would your Twilight wish be?”

I can’t say it enough Buttons, I love you so much and am so thankful you are my friend.  SO!  What would you like for your birthday???  I have some ideas, I couldn’t pick just one, so you’re getting them all!  First, of course, just some nice pictures of Rob.  I know you like smiley, giggly, Rob, so I tried to pick out ones that best represent that side of him for you.  Like this one:

Also know you like babies, so I thought  you might enjoy this:

I’m actually kind of hoping you don’t like that because I think it’s weird and creepy.  Here, this is better:

Now since I’ve been gone for such a long time from this blog because I’m such a jerkface blogger, you may have missed out on some recent Twilight gems.  Which works well for me, because I this way I can call them “gifts” for you.  You like Disney movies, right?  Go here. (I know, I know, I still haven’t figured out how to put videos in here.  Jerkface blogger, I get it!)  Next, you need to see this. It’s a little boring at first, but then it gets real good and fun.  Now, what’s that Buttons?  For your birthday you want nothing more than a new Johnny Flynn song??  As you wish, my darling.  He just posted a new one on his myspace page for your birthday listening enjoyment.  I had to “do” a few “favors” for Johnny in order to get him to share this with us, I hope it’s worth it.  (j/k, even if you don’t like the song, it was totally worth it.)

And if that wasn’t enough, I have one last present for you.  Even though we’re besties and more importantly Twilight besties, I can’t remember if you are on Team Robsten or Team Nonsten.  But since you’re so sweet I’m going to assume it’s Robsten and therefore I have the best present ever for you.  Apparently, over the New Years holiday, Rob and Kristen were spotted on the Isle of Wight in England together.  It started with a couple pictures from a preteen girl:

And then another picture appeared that apparently shows Rob, Kristen, and the majority of the Britpack:

Here’s one without the writing if you want it:

I have no doubts that that’s Rob and Kristen, (and Tom Sturridge in the back to the right), but I’m not convinced about the rest.  They’re all so bundled up, looking like a hobo gang it’s hard to tell.  That’s not really the point though, is it?  The point is that Rob and Kristen are vacationing together, which to me, means they are in fact, a couple.  I know I’ve been very hesitant to believe in any of this without REAL proof, but I think we have it now.  I don’t know anyone else who vacations halfway across the world with their non-boyfriend buddy for the holidays, do you?  No, no, I didn’t think so.  So there you have it.  I’m officially declaring them a couple and officially declaring myself on Team Robsten.  BTW, there have been lots of other reports about this, like which bar/pub/beer garden they were at on New Year’s Eve, and about TomStu’s grandmother owning a house on this Isle of Wight, but it’s all hearsay and we’re better than that.

So I guess that just about does it…  One more time Buttons, I love you so much and HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!!

PS I realize you may not read this until maybe tomorrow or even the next day or even the day after that.  But know that I did officially finish it on your birthday, so it still counts.  I LOVE YOU!  And so does Rob!

I’m A Lame-O But I Don’t Care December 6, 2009

Hello internet world!  I’m back… sort of.  This is actually one of those lame-ass posts where I’m only here to say that I’ll be back soon but not really post anything of real substance.  I don’t really have an excuse for my absence, except maybe that I was otherwise occupied with New Moon.  I was originally going to review it on it here, but then I realized that the three of you who read this already know what I think.  Whether it be at the MLS Cup Final game in the bitter Seattle cold, or secretly at a dining room table during a friend’s birthday party, we have discussed this movie in great detail and I don’t think I need to repeat myself.  Basically, I loved it.  A billion times better than Twilight, I’m totally in love with Kristen Stewart and think she did an amazing job, and Chris Weitz is my hero.  Of course I have some issues, but they can be overlooked and overall I am happy.

Speaking of being happy, words cannot describe how HAPPY I am to tell you that tomorrow I will, once again, be attending a show featuring Mr. Johnny Flynn!!!  He’s apparently in town to record his second album (which I’m also dying about, btw) and since his (and Rob’s) good friend Marcus Foster is doing a show, I guess he decided to join along!  Everyone wins!!!  Especially me, because I. CAN’T. WAIT.  You all know by now how I feel about Johnny, he’s the music love of my life and to get to see him again this year is totally unexpected.  Dreams really do come true guys, sometimes twice!

So I will come back soon with a full report on my Britpack-filled evening, it is sure to be lots of good times.  Until then… just… um… well, just keep on doing whatever you’re doing.  Keep on keepin’ on!  Later!

New Moon Mania!!! November 16, 2009

HOLY HELL!  New Moon Mania is now in full force, people!  The premiere was tonight in Westwood, CA and a billion trillion fans and celebrities were there.  I caught a little bit of the livefeed on the red carpet.  Anya Marina (from the soundtrack) was doing the red carpet coverage, and she’s an idiot.  Her voice was annoying and she spent a LOT of time talking about herself.  Twitter was much more entertaining, especially with the LTR girls there.  Pretty much everyone looked beautiful, even Rob!  Surprised?  No, no, of course not.

Kristen was… well, she was gorgeous.  Her dress was amazing, take a look, I picked the extra big size for you:

I think I’m in love!  I can’t wait to see her tonight on Conan O’Brien, word from the east coast Twitterers is she did a good job.  It’s so cool to see the difference between Kristen now and Kristen one year ago.  LOVE. IT.  Go here if you want to take a look at everyone in more detail.  My other favorites were Anna Kendrick (Jessica) and Dakota Fanning (Jane.)  My least favorites were sadly, Stephenie Meyer and Christian Serratos (Angela.)  Major fails, sorry ladies!

I'm sorry!

So currently there is a show on my television right now called “Love Bites.”  It’s on MTV.  Basically, the entire premise of this half-hour show is debating whether or not Rob and Kristen are dating.  GROSS!  Why, MTV, WHY?!?!  You guys suck.  One minute you’re talking about the media invading their lives, the next minute you’re interviewing some a-hole paparazzi who swears he saw them making out or something.  Nice life MTV.  I hate you.  Changing the channel now.  I guess I can endure a few minutes of Jay Leno to see what’s going on with Mr. Taylor Lautner tonight.

We also have this.  People Magazine just named Rob the sexiest man alive.  Well, maybe.  That’s the word on the internet street, at least, but I couldn’t find anything official.  Sooo…. congratulations?  I guess?  Who cares.  I guess it’s kind of a big deal since that title usually goes to older men… nope, still don’t care.

Fact or Fake?

Ooh!  Taylor’s on!  He looks the same every day.  Girls are screaming.  He brought his grandma.  Awww… and now they’re showing an embarrassing clip from his past.  He hung out with old people in Vancouver to escape the crazy fans.  His laugh makes me cringe.  It’s kind of nerdy.  Sorry.  Oh crap!  Now they’re showing an exclusive clip from the movie!  I getter get out of here!  That’s it for tonight, I hope you all enjoy your week!  Thanks for reading!

PS:  This doesn’t have much to do with anything, but Jamie Campbell Bower (Caius) tweeted this today: “I like Johnny Flynn’s new EP.  Named Sweet William.  Pretty Pretty Pretty. x”  I smiled so big when I read this.  Why?  Because he has over sixty thousand followers and he can get the JF-word out much, much, more effectively than I can.  Thanks Jamie!  I heart you now.

PPS:  I saw the movie “Pirate Radio” yesterday.  It was awesome.  So fun and funny.  It stars a young actor named Tom Sturridge, who just happens to be a good friend of Rob.  After all this New Moon business dies down, I will discuss my theories on how these two friends (along with 3-4 other young British boys) are either a) clones or b) robots.  Stay tuned.

PPPS:  THREE MORE DAYS!!!  WEEEEEEE!!!!  Okay, now I really gots to go, we’re having a huge windstorm here in Seattle and my power is going to go out any second!  Yipes!

Those Twihards Are… Amazing? November 15, 2009

So is everyone on New Moon overload yet?  I know I am.  I’m took a little break from all of the videos, pictures, interviews, etc today.  Instead I’m working on getting through reading Twilight and New Moon before Thursday.  That’s right,  THERE’S ONLY FIVE MORE DAYS!!!  SQUEEEEEEEE!!!!!

There was some struggle over whether or not I really wanted to read New Moon before I saw the movie, but in the end I decided it was for the best.  Here’s my thought.  The downside, of course, is that with the book fresh in my mind I will no doubt recognize the inconsistencies in the movie and be more susceptible to disappointment.  However,  last year after watching the movie, and then trying to read the book, I was horrified to realize that my own personal Bella and Edward (along with every other character and location) from my head had been replaced with those from the movie.  I don’t like that.  Especially Jasper.  I think I may have actually cried a little bit when I realized I had lost “my” Jasper.  I got him back eventually, after a LOT of concentration and mind control.  So I’m hoping to have one last time with my New Moon before everything gets replaced.  And that’s why I’m reading New Moon.

newmoon-large

Yes, please!

But that’s not really what I wanted to talk about tonight.  As I am writing this, there is currently a large group of Twihards camped out in LA for the New Moon premiere.  Let’s just make sure we’re all on the same page here.  Fans started lining up yesterday morning.  The premiere is on Monday.  That is E-A-R-L-Y.   These people are lined up block after block after block, just check out this video from www.hisgoldeneyes.com.

My first instinct when I heard about all this was to shout out “NERD ALERT!!”  It’s an old standby of mine, I use it on everyone, including myself.  You have to admit, waiting in line for days for a movie premiere (especially a movie about vampires and werewolves) is a pretty nerdy thing to do.  One can only imagine the nerdfest that is happening right now.  I’m thinking… intense Edward vs. Jacob debates, soundtrack sing-alongs, and possibly some inappropriate uses of life-size Edward Cullen cardboard cutouts.  At least that’s what I’d do if I were there.

merch_001

Go easy on him girls!

All that being said though, I will say I’m pretty impressed.  I don’t know the logistics of camping out on the LA streets for four days, but I’m guessing it’s rough.  The first few hours might be fun, and the payoff in the end might be worth it, but I’m sure it gets old real fast.  Hopefully everyone has read UC’s tips, but even LA gets cold at night, and sleeping in camping chairs can’t be comfortable.  The great thing is, the cast is getting wind of it and some of them are actually going out to visit the fans.  So far Alex Meraz (Paul) and Boo Boo Stewart (Seth) have already been out.  So nice, right?

In conclusion, my hat is off to all you ladies (and unicorns).  I hope come Monday, your persistence and dedication pays off, resulting in lots of hugs and kisses from Rob (or Taylor, if he’s your guy.)  You have my respect… but I’m only admitting that here, in the real world I will make fun of you lots and lots.  Sorry!  And for the rest of you, I wish you a great week of counting down to the best night of our lives.  Peace out!

Kristen Stewart Lovefest! November 7, 2009

Finally! I was feeling bad for taking so long on this Kstew Lovefest, but then all these articles came out this week which made me love her even more.  And THEN the press junket in LA came along last night and now there’s all sorts of interview videos out there that have only increased my love even more!  My Kstew love-tank is the fullest it’s ever been, therefore this is the perfect time to write all about how much I love her.  And this time around, I’m not saying a single mean thing.  Not one.  All love this time Kristen, I promise.  ALL. LOVE.

htla4

First, I want to share what her fellow cast members have been saying about her.  Vanity Fair has been releasing interviews from various cast members throughout the last couple of weeks, most of them ending with a “Describe the following people in one word” section.  Here are the words that Kristen’s peers chose for her:

Kellan Lutz: “Adventurous”

Peter Facinelli: “Sweet.”

Chaske Spencer: “Fighter.”

Kiowa Gordon: “Edgy.”

Alex Meraz: “Badass.”

Adventurous, sweet, fighter, edgy, and badass?  This sounds like my kind of girl!  In a recent video interview with Ben Lyons for E!, Billy Burke was asked whether or not he feels protective of little Kristen:  “No. She can handle herself.  I’m scared of her actually.”   Awesome.  And of course, we want to know what Rob has to say about her, right?  Right.  (Regardless of whether you are Team Robsten or Team Nonsten, you can’t deny that he probably knows her better than most.)  Some of my favorite quotes from him:

robert_pattinson_kristen_stewart_harpers_bazaar_new_moon-1

Look at those shoes!!

“Kristen doesn’t take any slack.  She sticks to her guns — and that’s difficult to do.”

“She’ll decide on someone a lot quicker. She has a lot more self-esteem than I do, so she’s like, ‘You’re an idiot and I don’t want to talk to you,’ and I’m like, ‘I’m an idiot too!’ So I’ll talk to an idiot for like three days before deciding.”  (Side note:  Hey Rob, if Kristen doesn’t talk to idiots, and she talks to you, then you couldn’t be an idiot, correct?  Except that I kind of feel like you’re an idiot for not realizing that.   J/K, idiot free!  No one is an idiot!  Unless, of course, Kristen says you are.)

“Kristen was very different from how I expected the girl who played Bella would be. I was kind of intimidated.”

“She’s a unique girl.  You really don’t meet many people like Kristen.”

When Rob talks about Kristen it makes me jealous that I’m not friends with her.  Lately I have had the extreme misfortune of dealing with some sensitive, passive-aggressive, fake-ass babies in the forms of grown women (coworkers), and Kristen sounds like the perfect antidote.

True Love Waits October 19, 2009

Tonight is a momentous night.  Right about this time, exactly one month from today, we’ll all be waiting around various theaters across the world, waiting for the biggest moment of our lives.  And to mark this night, I have decided to cut myself off from any more New Moon footage from now on.  If I haven’t seen it already, I’m not watchin’ it.  Seriously.  This is it.

This includes the footage to be shown on the Scream Awards (airing October 27th) featuring the wolf pack.  Footage that apparently contains improved, “more realistic” wolves.  The same footage that was featured on Entertainment Tonight this evening.  The same footage that you can download on iTunes for free RIGHT NOW.  I would love nothing more than to pull up iTunes and watch these fancypants CGI wolves at this very moment.  I downloaded the clip already, it’s ready to go.  I was about to watch it, and then I realized something.  Watching these scenes will be so much more awesome if I’m seeing them for the first time in the theater.  On the BIG screen.  I’m sure these wolves would be pretty sweet on any screen no matter what size… but I want to be dazzled.

The_NEW_MOON_werewolf__Jacob__by_SPFX_JuNkY

My anticipation for midnight November 19th IS. GROWING. BY. THE. MINUTE.  The temptation is so high to just go and find every little clip and picture I can.  But I must be strong!  I know the payoff will be high.  I already feel like I’ve seen so much at this point.  Summit has been so kind to show us Bella’s birthday (inlcuding Jasper’s new, yet still ridiculous wig), motorcycles, new creepy Laurent, cliff-diving, shirtless Jacob, hell, they’ve even shown us shirtless Edward!!!  (The most highly-anticipated in the movie for sure.  Well, by me at least.)  I just want to save something for the big day.  For my big day.  I’m doing the right thing.  Right guys?  RIGHT?!?!

Now, I don’t want anyone reading this to think that they have to follow me in this.  I will not judge you.  This is a personal choice that I’m making for me, you all do as you see fit.  Chacun a son gout. (“To each his own” in French.  I know, fancy, right?)  Go ahead, right now, and check out those wolves.  Here’s the link. Let me know what you think.  If I can’t watch it myself, I can at least hear all about it!  Apparently Bella kicks some Quileute ass.

NMWP

And so,  believing that true love waits, I make a commitment to God, myself, my family, my friends, my reader(s), Stephenie Meyer, Chris Weitz, Kristen Stewart, Moon and UC, Johnny Flynn (because he cares), and Edward Cullen (duh, because he’s the biggest supporter of True Love Waits ever) to a month of purity including New Moon abstinence from this day until the day I enter into the Cinebarre on November 19th.

On a completely different note, I reached 500 hits today!  I know that’s not really a lot compared to a lot of blogs out there, but it’s strange for me.  As someone who previously kept her Twilight thoughts to herself, it’s a big deal.  Of course I do realize that if I hadn’t written about Kristen that one time, so long ago, I wouldn’t be anywhere near 500, but whatever.  I’ll take what I can get.  The searches for her are at least getting nicer. Mostly just “Kristen Stewart,” instead of “Kristen Stewart is not nice.”  Maybe the world of Twilighters is starting to take the hint.  So we’re all in agreement?  We’re cool with Kristen?  Okay then.  I think this calls for a big, giant, Kstew lovefest.  I can’t think of a better way to celebrate 500 views, can you?

Come back soon for Kstew Lovefest!!

This Just In: Twitter Edition October 15, 2009

Ha HA!  I told you I would be back soon!  While you’re reading today, please enjoy these recently-released New Moon pics!

NMNS3

So I’ve been paying more attention to Twitter lately.  I finally gave in and started following every single Twilight actor.  Everyone. Even little Boo Boo Stewart.  (I know, right?  Boo Boo?!?!?)  He’s the kid playing Seth Clearwater, and he’s super cute.  And apparently he’s all the rage amongst preteen girls, because he keeps tweeting about doing photoshoots for Bop and Tiger Beat.

NMUHQ2

You can learn a lot from Twitter.  For example, David Slade, director of Eclipse, is an avid user.  Most of the time he posts random pictures of sticks and leaves and grass.  Occasionally he’ll say something about the movie he’s making too.  Like this: “and so to bed dear readers, 6am call tomorrow, back into the fray after this brief weekend sabbatical. Snow and heartbreak begins in the am.”  Is he talking about the TENT SCENE!?!?!  Oh gosh. Oh gosh. Oh gosh!

NMNS-1

The biggest news from Twitter this week?  Simon Pegg is Team Jacob!  If you don’t know Simon Pegg is… well, then, I hate you.  No, no, not really.  Simon Pegg is a British actor/writer, responsible for movies like Shaun of the Dead (my all-time favorite movie of ALL TIME) and Hot Fuzz.  And he was in Star Trek.  I love him.  But he’s not someone I would expect to be reading these books.

NMUHQ3

Apparently I don’t know anything though, because he Twilight-tweeted nonstop for 24 hours.  Here’s what he had to say:

Note: This picture is NOT from New Moon.

Note: This picture is NOT from New Moon.

“Was bitten by a weregoat in Greece. No idea when I’ll change or what powers I will have. Intrigued!!”

“Wait, I think I changed last night. My sofa’s gone.”

“Read the Twilight books on hols. Really enjoyed them in a sort of ‘creepy old man reading delusional, horny, daughter’s diary’ way.”

“For a slightly more adult skewed werewolf novel, read Toby Barlow’s, Sharp Teeth. Utterly brilliant. http://tiny.cc/3s30R

“I’m definitely team Jacob. I much rather have good abs and burst sneakers than liquid topaz eyes and a fear of hand jobs.”

“Oh come on, the Cullens are so up themselves. Pretentious much? You’re vamps for frick’s sake, drink human blood and stop crying! (help).”

“I just woke up naked, in a petting zoo in Buckinghamshire. Where the hell have I been since 3pm? Hey I’m verified! I’m so disoriented!”

“Yeah I definitely transformed into a goat. . I did a pooh and loads of partly digested literature came out. I think New Moon was in there.”

“I’m not being mean about New Moon. I simply said I may have eaten whilst in the form of a goat. I don’t hate. It ain’t my style.”

“Right, I’m going straight to bed, think I’m beyond a bath. Go Jacob!!”

Go Jacob?!?!?  Whaaaa???  Mr. Pegg, you disappoint me.  But I guess I should’ve known.  He’s a boy.  Most boys are Team Jacob, right?  Because they’re all jealous of Edward?  They don’t understand his emo sensitive ways?  That’s it.

NMNS4

In other Twilight news, the opening scene of Eclipse is going to be focused on Riley, Rob is still pretty much nowhere to be found, and Ashley Greene is going to be a bird for Halloween.  BIG TIME STUFF!  Thanks for stopping by!  I heart you all.

lrg-2379-bellaitaly

P.S. For all you Johnny Flynn fans out there (which is everyone in the world, right?), he’s got two new songs up on his myspace page. It’s fun!

Two Thumbs Up! Wayyyyy up! October 14, 2009

Okay, I’m back.  I told you I would be!  Where do I even start?  This is why I’ve been gone for so long… with just about 36 days before New Moon, there’s just too much going on and I’m overwhelmed!  Today we’ll just check in and make sure that we’re all up to date, shall we?

First off, the New Moon soundtrack got released early!  It was supposed come out next Friday, but Summit announced yesterday that they had decided to bump it up to THIS Friday.  Woot!  Woot!  They said that it was due to “overwhelming demand,” but I think we can all assume that it’s actually because it got leaked onto the internet.  I know I stumbled upon it as early as last Sunday available for my listening pleasure… although I’m proud to say that I managed to resist.  Sometimes I like to deprive myself of things just for fun.  But you can listen to most of it now legally on the New Moon myspace page.

So…what do we think of the album?  I’ve been waiting for this one  for a looooong time.  Lykke Li, Bon Iver, and Muse have been 3 of my favorites this year, so hearing that they were going to be on the soundtrack was super exciting.  And they did not disappoint, for sure.  Lykke Li’s track, “Possibility,” is one of my favorites so far.  As I’m listening to hen these songs, I can’t help but try to figure out which ones will be played during which scenes (and failing miserably, I’m sure.)  But this song, I don’t picture any one particular scene, I just see Bella’s face.  Poor, poor Bella.  And it breaks my heart.  Ohhh, I CANNOT WAIT for this movie!!

Of course I love Muse’s song.  “I Belong To You” was a track off their latest album, but it’s been remixed a little and now sounds even better.  Good ol’ Muse.  They never fail to create really weird, kickass music.  I also really like Anya Marina’s “Satellite Heart.”  I don’t know who she is, but her voice is cool and I’m excited to find out more about her.  Another favorite of mine is the last song on the album, a piano piece called “New Moon (The Meadow)” by Alexandre Desplat.  IT’S BEAUTIFUL.  It’s what Bella’s lullaby should have been instead of that crap that Carter Burwell came up with last time around that doesn’t sound anything like a lullaby.  And I know I said Death Cab’s song was boring, but it’s starting to grown on me.

I’ll stop now and let you decide for yourself, there’s lots of songs to love (15 to be exact, isn’t that great?), but my official take is two big thumbs wayyyyy up.  Good job everybody.  Here’s hoping that a good soundtrack = goooood movie!

Happy listening!  Come back soon for more news!!  (Soon like, tomorrow.  Not soon like, weeks.  I mean it.)

I Got A Fever… September 19, 2009

And the only prescription… is MORE NEW MOON!*

This morning, I bought nine tickets (for me and my Twilight army) for the midnight premiere on November 19th.  Exactly from two months from now, I will be in line at my nearest 21 and over (no annoying preteen girls!) movie theater, impatiently waiting with my friends for this movie. This movie that, now more than ever, I still faithfully believe is going to be so much better than the crapfest that was Twilight.

Pair that with the new trailer that came out last week, which was soooo good.  So good that my older brother texted me this: “K, at least New Moon has more action and less emo pouting.  And for once the werewolves don’t look stupid.”  So good that every time I watch it I still get goosebumps.  EVERY. TIME.

PLUS the release of Death Cab For Cutie’s single (which I actually think is kind of boring, sorry boys), AND rumors of a full track list being released by Summit any day now and…

I’ve. got. it. BAD.

How do I cope when I’m growing this impatient?  We still have two more months!  I’m guessing at some point more and more clips and interviews will start popping up, which will help a little I suppose.  But until then, I’m lost!  My tickets are bought and my soundtrack is pre-ordered… what else is a girl to do?  Somebody help me!

I don’t really know what else to say right now.  I’m just venting, I guess.  Perhaps I’ll grab New Moon off my bookshelf and finally dive in again.  We’ll see if that will quench my thirst for now…

-The Reluctant (and ANXIOUS) Twilighter

P.S. Did everybody see that Rob did a guest tweet on Peter Facinelli’s Twitter account?  It made me more than a little happy.  Basically, I was grinning like an idiot all day yesterday.  Take a look:

Rob's Tweet

P.P.S. Did anyone else think that kid intern from The Office this week kind of  looked like a baby Taylor?  Oh, really? No?  It’s just me?  Oh.  Okay.  PARKOUR!

*Sorry for the cowbell reference.  I usually hate it since it’s been so overdone, but I can’t deny, it is a crowd-pleaser.

Quick Recap September 14, 2009

Yesterday was a big day.  I would love to go into major detail right now, but I’m super-tired so here’s what I can say right now:

Fact: Kristen looked beautiful.   I loved her hair and her dress.

Fact: Ashley Greene also looked beautiful. I loved her hair and her dress too.

Fact: Everyone else I know thought Ashley looked beautiful too. I don’t know what the folks over at Entertainment Weekly were smoking when they put her on their worst dressed list… why E.W.? WHY?  Usually I’m on your side on everything, but not today.  YOU HAVE FAILED ME.

Fact: Muse kicked ass.  I can’t wait for the new album.

Fact: Beyonce wins MVP of the night. That girl’s got everything.

Fact: Watching the New Moon trailer on a big screen TV is way better than on my laptop. I got goosebumps either way.

Fact: Today is my sister’s birthday!!!   Happy Birthday Sister!!!  Thank you for being one of my 3 regular readers!

Fact: November 20th is TOO FAR AWAY!!!!

Be back soon!!
